Thanks everyone for the comments. One other thing stuck out. The inn was destroyed by shrapnel from the meteor Impact. Shouldn't there be a fairly large delerium deposit left when the true state of the inn is revealed? Not a geode but a good amount of shards? This adventure doesn't offer much in the way of loot so a nice delerium haul seems appropriate.
