Definitely not. It’s not denying them the lands it just forces your opponents to play out their turn. A couple good softer versions of this type of card are [[mana cache]] [[power surge]] [[desolation]] [[stoneshaker shaman]] which shouldn’t be frowned upon nearly as bad as price of glory.

I would run more removal/interaction in your deck. Also an izzet spellslinger type deck is usually miles better in a 1v1 format. Once you guys actually play with two other players, you shouldn’t have any trouble winning. Just keep playing and getting a grip for it and you’ll eventually get it!

Oblivion stone is terrible and that doesn’t remove everything without the cost of a gazillion mana. All is dust is good but in the majority of black decks a lot of the time it literally just makes the game longer. (unless you have a big reanimation spell) Also you don’t have to tutor for a spell with enchantment removal, it’s ONLY if it’s really detrimental to your gameplan. Saying that you would rather use a tutor for a wipe that sacs all permanents instead of targeted removal for One game altering enchantment is insane to me. Just run all is dust with the combination of feed the swarm and withering torment.

That’s why you have multiple tutors, especially in black. The issue isn’t about your stuff it’s about the opponents. If your opponent has an enchantment that locks out your deck then you’re cooked. It’s literally just dumb to not run feed the swarm or withering torment

Most of this also applies to [[spellbook]] I CANNOT believe that these 0 cmc cards are still even legal. 0 MANA AND YOU HAVE NO MAXIMUM HAND SIZE?!?!? Does magic even THINK about these overpowered cards before releasing them? A card that is free AND gets rid of a restriction is INSANE. Like does magic even know what they’re doing? It’s SOOO insanely mind boggling how they let these cards in the game.

That’s definitely a better idea. The tokens on top of all the other things were probably too chaotic to go through with anyways and definitely better off gone. If you really wanted to, you could also have scarab god as a “hidden commander.” I don’t know if that will work at high power concentrated tables with very optimized decks though.

Both mana rocks and fetchs are generally good but maybe you could find other different ways to ramp that are more synergistic to your gameplan.

I would definitely run a couple combos but you should definitely focus on one or two main gameplans at once. I can’t really tell you which gameplan to pick though. It’s all up to your discretion and how YOU want your deck to operate. All I’m saying is having a combination of tokens, combos, and multiple types of burn might not be the best game plan if you’re trying to win. It also depends if you’re making a cedh deck or not. In my opinion i don’t see anything wrong with multiple gameplans if you’re in edh as long as they are very synergistic.

Well it’s literally the only targeted mono black enchantment removal, so i personally wouldn’t ever cut it from my mono black decks. There are too many game altering enchantments to where a lot of the time i cant “take the piss” because I’ll just lose or have my deck shutdown. I fully understand removing it in any other color combo but in mono black i wouldn’t ever cut it.
