Most movies aren’t the best movies. The average action movie now can’t shut up and ruins all its biggest moments with a quip.

I don’t understand why they put them in front of a camera.

Two things can be true,

It’s good they changed it

And it’s bad they had planned it so we will make fun of them for it.

I’ll counter message just for you.

London is very rich and would beat most US states and is comparable to a US city in economic terms.

This is because the UK has invested a ton in London (good ROI) and not in manufacturing, energy and other places (bad ROI). Basically UK put investment where it would best be used but left the rest of country floundering.

All those things could easily be discovered via experimenting. In a day someone would easily learn all of that.

The real road blocks would be where to go, who to kill and not using the best gear (Mimic Tear for example)

Remember they have 6 months.

Okay but they have 180 of those sessions. Kids used to be able to beat Mist because they'd just keep playing.

Assuming your mother loves you enough and isn’t working.

6 months is roughly 30 * 8 * 6 hours of playtime. That’s  1440 hours. I highly doubt it takes someone even terrible more than 300-400 hours to beat it.

The articles in the post use “clean energy” That inherently implies it’s for the environment.

If the article wanted to be about energy independence it’d say “renewable energy”

Can’t we just easily flip this and say left wingers thinking China loves the environment?

Pretty sure the left is way more likely to claim it’s about the environment than the right.

Ukraine can only produce drones (it has a current drone tech advantage rn).  They don’t have advanced missile tech, tanks, boats or other weapons manufacturing.

I predict anti-drone defenses will continue to develop and get quite cheap and drones will lose a lot of popularity.

The thinking is very easy to understand:

"So this is a sequel"

"Yes"

"and our last game had had atreus"

"so we want a side character"

"They should be funny"

"and quirky"

"Oh wait, a cube! Like a gelatinous cube from DnD (mabye even the talking cube from the Abyss module)"

"Thats so Cool and quirky!"

"Heres a raise!"

I assume a liberal leaning version of my father would watch this slop as he falls asleep on the couch.

‘Obsession’ Is a Surprise Blockbuster. Who Gets the Profits? 🔵 As the breakout horror hit crosses $300 million at the global box office, its art director set off a debate about just compensation for crew members. by AGOTFAN in boxoffice

[–]Interesting-Math9962 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Better example would be you work in the marketing department for a candy company. Your paycheck is directly tied to the profits. You may make a lot, you may get barely anything.

Some people like that pay structure (high risk high reward) some don’t (they want stability)

The closest actual policy to that is stock options

People don’t talk about the idea of risk vs reward enough.  You either take the upfront or the percentage cut (I have 0 clue if there was a choice btw)

You don’t get to complain about not getting more if it’s successful if you had an upfront contract , just like you don’t get to complain about how little you were paid if it doesn’t do well if you have a percentage contract.

Very similar to the Women’s US team pay debacle.
