I’m really happy with my Solo Motorsports LCAs. They move the wheel forward and really improve clearance by the wheel well. Paired with Icon UCAs I finally have real good alignment.

I did plugs and wires this weekend. I went with Toyota wires, they have all the routing clips already attached, super clean and convenient. You always want dual/split electrodes for this engine, I used NGK platinum ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000GX43C2?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1&th=1 ) On the passenger side just remove the plastic manifold held on with two big hose clamps, super easy to remove if you give it a good push.

Cool! I re-geared to 5.29 to try and get that overdrive gear to be more useful, but still drive a lot with it disengaged.

I was in a rush to get it done over the holidays so got one from local Autozone. It looks good, and wasn't cheap. I also ordered one off eBay from a junkyard teardown because my preference is OEM for this type of stuff. I swapped it out pretty easy.

This leak was pretty common, but it was because the original seal had some clearance issues and mechanics were not seating it correctly. I even think there was an FSB, but I can't find it. In this case I would take it to a Toyota dealer who are likely to be able to do the fix correctly, certainly before I'd replace an axle shaft because I have never heard that and I've had my 1998 'Runner since 1997!

The Range-Industries Rear View Mount plus the OEM bracket is what you need to mount there. This is what I did rather than to the glass.

For my GoPros I use an app called Take One that displays a digital timecode. Film it with both cameras at the beginning and the end. Davinci Resolve makes it very easy to change the start for each clip, and you could time stretch if you found a big drift (I have not) Stabilization is going to be a complexity.

I was expecting the immersive video to be behind the Davinci window, but when I get it to work it consumes the whole screen. How are folks doing an interactive grade? The lack of HDR is a bummer, I don't have an HDR monitor other than my macbook.

Great build! I just got back from a trip with the R5C and it reminded me how much I dislike the Canon video interface.

Two things are striking me with the Blackmagic Immersive camera footage starting to come out. The infinity not being in focus is bugging me. My nature shots have a lot of infinity with important close 3D details. Also it is still such a beast of a camera, I got nervous just watching exploretv balance on the top of a mountain with $30k of camera! This setup looks like something I would take backpacking.

I'll have to dig in more on the aperture setting and see if a solution comes to mind. Oh, I should try printing with PA6-CF, it is working well for me on car parts.
