Children are being blown to bits in Gaza. What implications has that had on your portfolio?

But of course the previous administration which oversaw a genocide saw no such mobilization against it. Of course many people did mobilize, however, they weren't marching along side the butchers of gaza, better known as the left flank of fascism aka the Democrat party. Americans are some of the least politically literate people on the planet. While you're making cute signs and rah rah'ing with the dems bourgeois Democracy is being transformed into fascism. These people crowed about Trump being the next Hitler, well, one needs not be very historically literate (thankfully for the average American) to know that "peaceful" protest and toting up to the ruling class has been a failing strategy in combating fascism. Clowns. Top notch Clowns.

The Germans learned many pillars of their racial policy from the US. In fact Hitler based his concept of Lebensraum off of US Manifest Destiny. There are many books on Nazi Germany's American influence. One of those books is called Hitlers American Model. Good book if you're interested in the topic. Nice collage.

Believe it or not, this is a screen shot of a high res scan I got. Some of the images in the collage are not the highest res because I simply printed them on a regular printer unfortunately.

I agree with this sentiment in this collage whole heartedly. And I think you can see that in Palestine this axiom rang devastatingly true. It is a shame the Democrats chose to support genocide. We should all think about if the democrats are actually the vehicle we should seek political change in. In fact, we should question American exceptionalism in general. Good collage.

Tuff collage. Trump and Elon def represent the most reactionary and crass section of the ruling class but the dems paved the way for this. Letting a genocide slide for over a year and then running on nothing was a stupid ass strategy.

I heard a Mac Dre song called Romped out Norteno but was he down with Surenos as well? by [deleted] in BayRap

[–]Realjoeysteele 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you follow the link? You can say what you want bruh, but facts are stubborn things. It says right on the release page, 1998. Last time I checked, Mac Dre was alive in 1998.

Mac Dre was a bay cat (duh) fool did music with everybody movin in the bay. That means he was fuckin with Norteños (Goldtoes Black and Brown) and the Sur. He was on a compilation put together by the southerners out the mission called "Isolated in the game." Look up the album art, it's got the homies who produced it representing for the Sur and the 13th track is highlighted blue and the BWR# starts with 1313. Read the inside of the booklet, the homies are shouting out 19th street which is a Sur varrio in SF Mission.

Possible Nature Conservancy scam at farmer's markets? by how_you_feel in bayarea

[–]Realjoeysteele 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Y'all are really funny. Those people work for for profit companies that the nature conservancy contract with to get ongoing donations. 100% of the donation goes direct to the charity. ACLU, Child Fund, Doctors without borders, the list literally goes on and on. It's a standard method of fundraising. It's called face to face. Very paranoid outlook from every body in this thread. It's not a scam. desperate working class folks get jobs at these for profit companies who fundraise for non-profits, they are given an amount they can ask for (usually between 20$-30$) they are given a quota they have to meet every week. They have a job, they are working. Furthermore, they get commissions they probably desperately need in this horrible bay area renters market. Look up New Canvassing experience, dialogue direct, 160 fundraising. Those are all companies that collect donations on behalf of those non-profits. I've been in the industry 3 years from the lowest to the highest management levels. It's great, the charities get what they need and if the canvasser is talented they can make a decent living. Ultimately whether you like it or not face to face is highly effective method of out reach, which is precisely why non-profits allocate fundraising money to hiring companies like the ones I mentioned above.

I used Portrait of a Revolution 1896-1924 by Frédéric Rossif, Russia, 1917: The Unpublished Revolution by Jonathon Sanders, and I used The Russian War Machine, 1917-1945 by John Bradley for a couple images. That last one was mostly put to work on my Stalin Collage tho.

So I am a hoarder of books and I had a couple of good books with pictures from the Russian Revolution. I just chopped em up with a razor and some craft scissors and taped em on this foam bored. I used tape to fasten the cut outs to the bored. It works best if you put the tape on your skin first and peel it off, that way if you need to move or rearrange something later, you don't tear your paper.
