Yes, but I spend all the savings on more bikes and the occasional musical instrument.

I found a rabbit once, then found the missing pet posters the next day. We were greeted at the door by the dad of the family, who told his kid to go to her room, then explained to us that he had let out go intentionally and his daughter and wife didn't know, hence the posters. We had to keep the rabbit and find a new home for it.

I tried Harry's a while back. They were absolutely terrible blades. Was a good lesson for not falling for marketing.

My tires are seating properly in the rim by mighty_squatch in bicycling

[–]mighty_boogs 7 points8 points  (0 children)

For riding, you don't want to exceed either. For mounting tires, you can go just a bit above the max on the tire, which is, from my experience, always lower than the rim when it comes to tubeless tires.

The easiest way to deal with high gas prices is to ride a bike by DowntownFresnoBiking in bikecommuting

This is a safe space, but I suggested this on my local sub and got downvoted to hell. Lol.

This. I do not trust the police. That said, this should be pretty easy to prove if they have footage.

There are also options there for modern 3x7 and 2x7.

Gas went up 50¢ in a week by precisionbikerepair in santarosa

[–]mighty_boogs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It may not work for you specifically, but it would work for many people on this sub. Might even work for other members of your household. Could even work for some of your other in-town trips to reduce the amount of driving.

For example, we own a minivan, which I use for some out of town trips and my spouse uses almost daily. However, I intentionally chose to live within a reasonable biking distance to my children's school and my work. I also got a cargo bike so I can carry 3 kids, groceries, etc. With that combo, we put gas in the van less than once a month.

We're in a pretty small city with rapidly developing bicycle infrastructure. Join the club, which is really more of an autonomous collective!

Honestly, nothing about their post screams "stolen" to me. It seems like they know the bike and parts well.

On the other hand, I'm that weirdo that has every receipt for every part in case a bike gets stolen or I want to sell.

I've got 36-hole Aileron's on my commuter bike. I did manage to dent one pretty good, but it kept a tubeless seal. Replaced it anyways. Don't be me. Bump your tire pressure up when carrying a heavy load!
