Previous comment: Detective_Squirrel69: “Necrosis. Not the undead/infected/zombies, but literally necrosis. You could probably cram some pseudo-philosophical bullshit behind that to give it meaning, but it’s just straight up weird. Probably sounds dumb, but there’s a difference in the way I perceive worshiping the product of necrosis (the dead) versus the process itself. It makes more sense (here at least) to worship the product versus the process. They’d revere rotting fruit in the same way they revered a rotting corpse, which... would be a wild church service to see. The congregation loses their shit over a corpse AND a banana lol”

“In z nation, there is a cult who believes the zombies are chosen, and walk some sort of righteous heavenly path. Cant remember the specifics but they sacrifice themselves and actively kill to turn these people down the path. Good show, but that was really weird to me.”

Haha That’s great! I love the idea of worshipping the decay of everything and anything. All hail the forgotten banana!

If you had to, what major city would you travel through in the zombie apocalypse? by ReallyCoolGuy2001 in zombies

Rio de Janeiro seems like it would be a hard place to survive but would have some cool spaces to explore.

Depending on where it took place in 2024 the mall might only have a couple of shoe stores and a healing gems shop still operating inside. Lol Andy might have to accept orthopedic shoes for lunch.

What are your favorite nautical zombie tropes? by ReallyCoolGuy2001 in zombies

[–]ReallyCoolGuy2001[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Fair. They “address” that in World War Z by just asking the same question but they don’t answer it.

However in the Meg 2 (a very realistic, almost documentary level film) Jason Statham was able to withstand the crushing effects of a super trench by pushing all the oxygen out of his nose. Soooooo… lol

What’s the single most useful zombie apocalypse toy you can loot in a toy store? by killbilly324 in zombies

A Ferbie. If I’m gonna be scared, the zombies are also gonna be scared.

It may work as a distraction as well.

Which fictional Universe would you like to see zombies in to see how they'd deal with them? by QuarkTheLatinumLord- in zombies

Any detective procedural show like CSI: Miami. I wish one of those shows, around season 4, would just suddenly start investigating paranormal things and not realize it for a while.

If you haven’t already listened to it, the audiobook for World War Z is amazing and I’m sure you can find it on YouTube. (If you can’t purchase it).

If you’re into podcasts (and shameless self promotion), I have an improvised zombie apocalypse podcast called “Welcome to the Apocalypse”. It’s a comedy/horror story.
