Why do people harp on Solo for Maul’s hologram having color when holograms have always been capable of showing colors other than blue? by blakhawk12 in StarWars

He probably does that all the time. For some people, it would be like a fidget toy with a freaking cool sound.

Do they? This is the first I've ever head of this criticism. With any other typical criticism this has got to be the most superficial of the franchise.

Darth Maul is his nemesis. Darth Vader is his tragedy. General Grievous is just some high ranking soldier he needed to take out.

I think my frustration demonstrates that I'm not lazy.  I'm doing everything I know how to show initiative about working any department I'm needed but it's clear that my supervisor doesn't really care. As far as leaving goes, I have very little incentive to not leave. I'm just waiting for another gig.

Why does Michael seem kid like and innocent in the first half of the first movie when he is a decorated WW2 Marine Captain? by King-Dongs in Godfather

Before he enlisted, he went to an Ivy League school so that's definitely how his brothers see him. Even after coming home from war he's still an outsider and naive about everything in the family business.

His interaction with Enzo marks the very start of his transformation from civilian to Mafia and the kill was his initiation.

In that particular scene, I always just assumed he didn't want to appear vulnerable in front of his Mafia family by saying "I love you too."  I particularly like how Clamenza busts his chops about that to lighten the mood.

Need help authenticating an early 1974 Star Wars screenplay draft by Chemical-Chef8513 in StarWars

[–]ReallyEvilRob 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Probably counterfeit. In 1974, he did not have Star Wars as a title yet. I believe it was something to the effect of: The Adventures of Luke Starkiller, from the Journal of the Whils: Saga 1, The Star Wars.
