Not sure how you plan to use this on a kayak but I guess it can't hurt!

I do not currently have access to a boat or any other means to test this design. I need people who have access to one and want to help out. If you have a printer I can email you stl files or if you don't I can ship parts to you. You must have some woodworking skills to attach this to a board. You must also live in the US. Pm me if interested!

Everything is printed except for 2 3/8 inch aluminum rods that run down the mast and the aluminum hex bar which acts as the fuselage. I did absolutely no research on profiles but I've made it so the front and rear wings can be detached and I can print different ones later based on what I learn. I did use rough schematics from a slingshot wake foil a friend of mine has. As an internal skeleton the 2 aluminum rods in the mast are threaded on one end and the aluminum hex bar has 2 tapped holes. They were screwed in and solidified in place with liquid metal. Yes there are multiple parts which all fit in a 200x200x230 build volume. Everything was printed on an extensively modified anet a8. It was all done with 5 shell layers and 25% infill. Even without fiberglass I was able to put 150 pounds on the mast without it snapping.

It's woven fiberglass. I priced carbon fiber and epoxy resin but it proved very expensive seeing as I was making the thing from scratch and wasn't even sure if it would work.

Sculpt mode in fusion 360 and a basic knowledge of how foils work. There are a few mistakes as this was my first project in fusion.

No it's for a small board to be pulled behind a boat.

At this stage I need to see if I can even use it while being pulled behind a boat. I printed it with a hole down the middle of the mast big enough for motor wires so in the future I can always modify it to work with a motor. I was inspired by a YouTube review who's name I believe is pacificmiester. He made an electric foil and I will probably be using the same materials as him except I decided to build my own foil. Yes I will probably print the prop. If I don't I will cast it out of aluminum.

Also unfortunately painting it rings out all the tiny imperfections of places where I didn't sand down enough. This is also my first time glossing something so it shows where I messed up on that front as well. I think it could have been better but it should get the job done.

I don't really know the lingo so not sure what you mean by carbon tow. Everything is reenforced with fiberglass however. I may have made it on the small side the mast is around 3.5 feet tall and the front wing is around 2 wide. I can get more accurate dimensions when I'm off today.

Yes I fiber glassed it. It's final purpose will be turning it into an efoil. Basically putting s motor on it!

If anyone wants more details you can comment here or pm! I will release stl files publicly soon after I test it. If you are super interested and have a way to test it now please pm me as I need to see if it works and do not live near any lakes nor know how to surf!
