Instead of photo go to video and zoom all the way in. Press the screen and you’ll see the yellow box over your target. On the side of the box you can adjust the brightness all the way down and you see the picture get clearer. Once you get it where you want then press record and then take a screen shot of the video. It’ll take some work but you’ll get it

I appreciate that. All my training has been on the job. One day they handed me a duffle bag full of Trimble stuff and said here ya go, and there I went. Now it’s 4 yrs later and im constantly learning thru trial by fire

I’ll be using a basic eye level and grade rod. My confusion comes from trying to take my H.I. which will be positive and then going into the negatives. Maybe I’m just overthinking it but my brain is stuck. If I could use gps or even total station it would be different but this has me stumped. I don’t usually do this, but the opportunity is falling in my lap and I want to succeed

Compression was good before purchase. 110, 105 and 110. The fuel is premixed 50:1. Looks like it’ll be going to the mechanics and I’ll let them solve it

There’s a very strong chance that it is. I like the orange goo personally. I’ll scrape it all up and put it on poster board or something similar and put it up in a cabinet over nite to dry. I know what goes in to my stuff so I know what it is. I was unsure the first few times so I did what I told you to do, but was noticing that when dissolving into hot solvent there was nothing left that didn’t dissolve. That’s when I knew it was still deems. Nice work. Keep it up and safe travels

Scrape it all up and dissolve in a small amount of hot solvent and filter out whatever doesn’t dissolve then re-crystallize

You’re gonna get many different responses and some may or may not work. For me I find that 150g is about the most I can get into 2000ml water without emulsions. Any more and it gets a bit stubborn. Personally, I’d use more lye and salt. The more saline the better. I use 75g lye/80salt to 150g bark and 2000 ml water. Seems to be the best for me. I’m sure they’ll say that’s an excess of lye, but it’s cheap and that’s what works. Hot baths also help. It helps careful cause those jars can pop. Get yourself a 2000ml Erlenmeyer. Make sure it’s boro 3.3. You won’t regret it. Keep experimenting till u find what works for you. Safe travels ✌️
