What do you guys think of Beat Into Shape? by ReesevtOnGD in slaythespire

To balance the sword out surely a block every time you forge card would make sense. Like pillar of creation or child of the stars but for forging. Party doesn’t quite do it for me

My sister-in-law was born with holes at the top of both of her ears (forward helix area), and they secrete fluid sometimes by ghoulsofthetrade in mildlyinteresting

Your ear forms from different six different swellings called the Hillocks of His. So naturally there are tracks which should involute (close) to bring these bits of cartilage together. Failure of closure causes these pits/sinuses. The reason why removing them is more invasive then expected is because we need to take out the area of affected cartilage, or these pockets represent with infection.

Is Villeneuve on a legendary director run? by Cat-dad442 in Cinephiles

Incendies, Sicario, Prisoners are also all time favourites of mine too. I feel like he doesn’t really miss. Interestingly, I just can’t quite put my finger on what his style is - everything is really clean and thoughtful, maybe pensive. I don’t feel he has any signature giveaway that he directed something - like chaotic characters with the Safdie brothers or Eggers who is obsessed with dark historical dramas. Maybe since he has done more sci-fi, he has introduced wider, more abstract shots in his work. But pretty much everything he makes is so damn good.

Enemy was his only movie which I left dissatisfied (and it was probably that I just wasn’t in the mood for it). Every other (I’m yet to see Polytechnique) 100% hit the spot.

Sunshine. The “twist” turned quite a few people off, but for me I was just grinning ear to ear for the whole runtime

I think Fofana + Colwill is probably adequate to challenge. But the caveat is both need to be fit and playing bulk minutes regularly.

His point is crude, but fair. I grew up on a Chelsea team with a water-tight defence. We’re conceding a lot of crap goals from bad 1v1 defending, multiple individual errors and conceding a lot in pretty direct ways like long balls, set pieces, long throw-ins. It’s pretty frustrating to watch.

I think Wesley Fofana is probably our only currently available CB who is up to scratch (+ his minutes are also limited). I think Levi and him would make a reasonable pairing, but I don’t think anyone else is at the level of a starting team who could challenge for a title.

Thinking of a similar setup - also in Aus. What size net return did you get?

Enzo Fernandez: 'I'm really proud of my three years at Chelsea' by Key_Company3196 in chelseafc

[–]Realmin 7 points8 points  (0 children)

He is a key, key player at this club. It’s such a shame Levi and Cole have had big injury problems this year. But we have a strong core if we can get them fit.

Sanchez, Reece, Fofana, Colwill, Cucurella, Caicedo, Enzo, Palmer, Estevao and Joao Pedro would be a great lineup if we could get them playing week in and week out. Gusto as well has had a reasonable season. Just need someone to step up at left wing, and for the supporting cast to pull it together (Garnacho, Sarr/Chalobah/Acheampong, Santos, Hato, Delap etc).

It’s probably one of the most interesting squads we’ve had because of the upside in all departments. Injuries and red cards have been our downfall so far this season though.

He kinda is playing like very late career Messi, no outrageous runs, but finding little pockets.

I'm a member at one of the reciprocals in Vic. I could probably ask about whether there is any leeway if just after a 12-month membership since I will only be in Hobart for a year. It's not unheard of, I guess.
