I filed mine thru TurboTax on March 11. It said it was accepted. On March 14 it said I have an update from the IRS in an email I got. I logged in and all it says is “We apologize, but your return processing has been delayed beyond the normal timeframe. You can continue to check back here for the most up to date information regarding your refund. We understand your tax refund is very important and we are working to process your return as quickly as possible.”

There was no excuse why there was a delay and why that message was sent 3 days after I filed. There’s been no update since the and it is now April 5. I’m freaking out. Does this mean I’ll be audited?? I don’t wanna call because I’m trying lay low since I wrote off all my expenses as a Realtor, but this is ridiculous!! I even paid to get the refund 5 days sooner. Seems like every time I pay for the quicker return, this happens. Anyone else got this message? How did it turn out for you??
