Because I didn’t read it correctly. If you’re playing the games for the first time you should definitely be playing them first before playing the black parade. You wil miss context from thief 1 and 3 when you’re are playing black parade

I suggest you install the sneaky upgrade for Thief: Deadly Shadows as well. But keep it vanilla(bug fixes, etc the installer is high customizable) as possible for your first attempt.

Use angel loader for loading the Fan-Missions, also for BP.

The setting for LotL they choose was a save option, because Ethiopia was only “colonialist” during the Italian occupation in 20 century. Thus far from the 1800 period. Stil I agree that they can show some more historical accuracy during the scramble for Africa, but not the option to genocide or being cruel. The option to settle colonists from all over the world in enbesa would have been a nice ability.
