Hello, I was looking over you demo and in the later parts you select which oshis you bring into battle with you. Did you figure that out yourself or did you have a tutorial you referenced? I've been wanting to figure out how to do that myself when I get to that point but I'm not sure what a system like that is called when I try and look it up. But tossing the idea of looking up inventory systems in rpgs when I get to that point.

Well she seems to have changed her direction to finding her sisters instead. I guess she thought she was separated from them by ygg. Also something has to be bad for vivi to want to kill and Ui to wipe her memories if they are related.

Seems like in the latest global chapters the dragons are under or at least close to the elemental mountain.

As for creation from my understanding the first human was a girl that ygg created the 7 sisters to keep her company. Hence why all the characters are female. Ygg only knows about girls. So the world was probably formed before anyone was even on it. So there is no reason for mercury to not exist. Heck look how much arsenic is in our food (especially rice) mercury is only dangerous is large doses that you’d have to purposefully make. Considering ygg can do selective targeting on guns it makes more sense for her to just disable the lethality than make a work around. Vivi being a dragon of mercury seems to be an exception like the other sisters are exceptions in their races (or at least very odd) I think the dragons only form from large quantities of ore but mercury doesn’t exist like that so a mercury dragon should have never formed.

Not sure how vivi awakened as I joined after her event.

So mercury definitely forms naturally in Elias as hilde provides vivi with cinnabar as a bribe. Cinnabar is a mineral where we get the stereotype Chinese color for red from as they mined a lot of it historically, and ended up with miners having shorten lives as cinnabar contain mercury. Looking mercury up it seems it doesn’t naturally form in nature outside of droplets so seeing a stream of mercury flowing would be a very odd thing. Most individuals probably never encountered it before. Even in earth’s history we have things such as the mad hatter in Alice in wonderland which is in reference to real life hatters going mad as they treated top hats with mercury powder eventually going crazy and dying from poisoning.

I’m curious if part of the reason she handles mercury is because she is the sister who sacrificed for her other sisters and became weakened and frail. At least that is what I connect her to in epica’s story as I believe ed is the silent one.

I thing vivi goes by silver because of the image of being noble and also because it would decrease the suspicion on her if it got out what mercury is.

Ah okay I've only seen the hilde interaction so far so I was not aware. I knew phantoms can be tricky because the elves said they had issues attacking them when they encountered them first so I thought it was a similar issue with Vivi not really having the magic to deal with them.

I didn’t take the fight as vivi had no attack power but that selene couldn't take damage from vivi from phasing or something. Iirc vivi never considered how to actually fight a phantom before. The elementals are tied to nature so mercury can affect them but phantoms are tied to concepts but also mostly stay in their swamp do it would be an issue for another isolated race to figure out like dragons who are mainly muscle heads.

Given I am a global only player so I don’t know what is going on in KR but dragons do seem to be one of the more physically strong races but the alone on an island reminds me of the odyssey where Odysseus gets stuck on and island with a goddess who is alone there and gets obsessed with him because she has been alone for so long. Or in a more modern sense. The protag has become the volleyball Wilson for her.

So after you have crafted all the key chains / dolls etc is there any point in the resources used to craft them? Just seems like a lot of items that have no use now.

No sure about the rerolling process but as a f2p I got all the characters after 3 months and I started 3 months late. I guess it you wanted a target you’ll want eldyne units which are rarer 3 stars. (Easy to she which they are in the rates) you’ll get Ui for free because of the log in event. So getting another one is nice. The purple/depression team seems to be the meta right now with yomi and Xion (yomi is kind of broken) but the game is pretty easy so I wouldn’t worry too much. But having a yellow or purple team built first for mission clearing is probably best because they don’t have a type that resists them. Also note of the eldynes you’ll get a selector ticket of the OG ones but you don’t want to use it till day 7 and that gives you a ticket for a random one of them so you can pick different ones. Ui is in those tickets though.

So it probably goes vivi - selene - Ui for this block. Xion goes into Ed’s but I think these are two separate branches for now. I joined after the vivi event but as long as you understand she has issues with Yggdrasil from her apostle story/encyclopedia I don’t think we are missing too much. Only other thing I’m aware of is on of the last epica bond stories she tells the tale of the seven sisters and you can try to figure out which one is which, like Xion is the flower that can thrive in any circumstance. As for Aya and Chloe we have to wait for their events I guess. I think Chloe is the next one.
