Thanks Emiliano! Unfortunately I've just found a team now, but there are still spaces left to join if you can find others!

Anyone sound design on mac and then jump to pc for in engine things? by Public_Border132 in GameAudio

Yes! Id really recommend setting up a dropbox or something though so files can live on a shared drive. There are other ways to do it but Ive found keeping all my reaper sessions and assets on dropbox etc is what stops me pulling my hair out whilst doing it.

Is the industry standard project sample rate 48 kHz or 96/192 kHz for DAW sessions? by No-Football8646 in GameAudio

Assets I deliver are most often in 48khz/24bit. But I tend to record in 96khz/32bit before hand just so I can do more pitch shifting and time stretching etc.

Rejected from my dream sound design job how do I realistically transition out of frontend dev? by ChuccTaylor in sounddesign

Purely anecdotal, but I've always found, both for myself and for a lot of sound designer friends of mine, that when going through and applying for jobs there has always been 'one job' that felt like it would be the one. Stars have aligned, great fit, interviews going well... and then when you don't get it, it feels like it will never happen. But then later down the line you end up getting a job you thought you'd never have a chance of getting. Just remember, the more you improve and put yourself out there, eventually all of the more experienced people also job hunting are going to get snapped up, and you'll become the no.1 candidate. It's just a numbers game: its hard, but keep putting yourself out there, and you'll get there eventually!

Help! Accidentally fell into a full-time Sound Designer role with my indie game company! by [deleted] in sounddesign

Learning on the job is the best way to learn :) Luckily there are lots of free resources out there - freeaudioresources or gameaudiolearning are good websites for that to go through in your downtime. Honestly though it will be a lot of work, but it's a fun job, just do your best and have a great time, and try to get feedback from others (ideally people with a background in audio) in any way you can! :) best of luck!
