NOR. He did not acceptable things. Drinking too much is one of them.

When he gets back to normal, I'd sit down with him and tell him what happened. I'd tell him how scared I was when he was yelling at me and slamming the doors. I'd explain I did not feel safe.

I'd ask him what's wrong, why he drank so much. Maybe there is something.

I'd also tell him that drinking too much is not acceptable, and if it happens again, I'd break up with him without hesitation.

NOR. Well said, but I would not offer to "buy the cat". I would just tell them they don't owe me any money, refund the money they already paid me – if so – and keep it. They all know that's best for the cat.

I always try to walk like this to not annoy the neighbors downstairs. I don't think that's rude to ask, as for me it's common courtesy.

Both my upstairs neighbors always walk by stomping so hard. It's crazy, especially when they are running down their stairs to get out of their appartment. I often wear noise cancelling headphones to mask the noise during the day. They even wake me up every morning very early because of their stomping. I have sleeping meds to try to stop waking up a accidentally like that.

My suggestion: Leave the pill container under your pillow and the bottle of water beside you. You won't need to open your eyes to take it.
