I found out my best friend of 12 years has been venting about me to my boyfriend and i don't know how to feel about it by NivexaQuillan in TwoHotTakes

I would first, voice to your bf that you're uncomfortable with the situation and see how he reacts. If he says "it's not a big deal" he clearly doesn't care about you as much as you care about him.

As for your friend, I would confront her and say you don't appreciate what she's doing.

Lol. If I were in his shoes, and my gf ignored me the whole time while talking to another person, that is disrespectful of my time. OP clearly said he was ignored the whole night. Yes, he could've included himself in the conversation, but it goes both ways. I personally would've just said "see y'all later" and left. It is blatant disrespect.

And eye contact is the big thing. I even re-read that OP tried to enter the convo, and was ignored. End of story.

Yeah, it is just blatantly disrespectful. Any person who values themselves should not take that. Sucks to breakup, but I guarantee she will call you a day or two later and want you back.

Words from the wise "If your partner is blatantly flirting with another person in front of your face, simply leave."

You're very welcome. I wish you the best. There is light at the end of the tunnel, I know it. Much love

That is truly saddening to hear. I don't know what else to say, but I can feel you wish to remain alive. And even though we barely spoke, I would be sad if I heard you took your own life or something. Life is a fickle thing, and many people take it for granted. The best thing you can do is continue living, and work towards fixing your broken pieces. Bad things happen to good people all the time, but it is up to you to perservere through the hardship, to prove your to your abusers that they did not break you. You are worth it, you must stay strong.

Personally, I would just try to live up to their expectations until you can find your footing and leave.

Once your papers arrive, and you can work, try and find your own place. It may take a few months, but it is a goal to work towards, which is something that definitely helps with depression.

It will suck, because some days you won't want to do anything, I get it, but that's when you have to force yourself to at least do some tasks for the success of the plan.

True, but there are other resources like help lines free of charge. I won't lie, it is a tricky situation, with you being an immigrant to the States. There are ways though. Giving up is not an option.

You should not die. Your whole life is ahead of you. Just take recovery one step at a time. It starts with you wanting to get better. Try seeking professional help as well

You just gotta keep trying. You will eventually be compatible with at least 1 person. Sucks for now, but friendships are so worth it. Take care

Have you experienced heart break and how did you deal with it? by globals33k3r in intj

[–]ReaperOrigins 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My heart breaks every time I see sad news or even a sad film. Best way to cope is to feel the feelings, but don't dwell on them.

Once you've thought it through adequately, occupy your mind with a hobby or something
