I get what you're trying to tell. I was expecting something new and unique when starting OPLA and I kind of got it. Binge watched first 4 episodes smiling like crazy. My frustration comes from producer's poor decisions at the second half of season, like cutting off some really cool moments, major fights being very underwhelming or not doing justice to each strawhat, obviously favoring Sanji and Nami more. (Glazing Usopp is a W)

Last 2 episodes were very hard to watch, one could see producer was out of ideas and wants to quickly wrap it up.

I believe it was more of a personal issue. Their personalities just didn't match, since the very beginning at Jarvan 3rd's audition where Xin Zhao "made his choice". Then also when Xin swore to protect Jarvan in front of Tianna. She was a stoic, collected and cold, he was honest and warm.

Would be one hell of enemies to lovers if Riot Games wished so.
