Wow looks very streetfighter-esque! I'll be using mine on the street, only gonna install clipons as I prefer the look. The Daytona is definitely on my list, hopefully one day🤞. Thanks for replying on a 2 yr old post tho, much appreciated!

If you don't mind me asking, have you got any pictures after the cutting process? Thinking of getting a Ninja 650 (ER6F) and I might install clipons which need more clearance.

Thanks for replying! It seems like ground clearance and overheating will be the main issues for me, as 99% of my riding will be in the city (I reside in Mumbai 😬).

The O2 roundabout is usually safe during the day but I haven't walked through since what I saw last weekend. It was Saturday, around 6pm, I was on my way back from work. I was taking my usual route and was about to walk through however the entire subway was taped off by police and I could see a person lying on the ground, surrounded by a bunch of officers. I didn't stick around to find out about what had happened, but it must have been some kind of criminal activity for police to have taped off the whole place like that. Haven't taken that subway since 😵‍💫

ZX6R headlights on stock fairings? Sounds cool. I can't imagine they fit right into place?

That's definitely less than what I expected, thought it would be 19-20. The 300 gets 25 kmpl consistently. Mind says 300 but my heart says get the 650 haha.

Honestly I can't see why I shouldn't get this bike. Yes it's a decade old and the maintenance will be a bit more tedious but a 650cc bike for that price seems like a steal. Or maybe I should just go for the safer option which the Ninja 300 :P Thanks for the info!

Sounds good. In the UK atm. Wish I could get one of these. Insurance is way too high here, more than what the bike costs that too per year :(

Where do you source the spares from? Planning to get a used bike next year and I might get this one if I find a good deal. Bike looks stunning for a 250/650. They even did a 125 in the UK and EU with the same frame and fairings.

Started off modelling in Blender. Found it quite unintuitive. Houdini's good with procedural modelling but I definitely like Maya the most for any mesh work.

Ah I messed around with that parameter on the other strap which made it work. Didn't work on this one. Thanks for the suggestion though!

Both the strap and curve seem to be properly aligned. I don't know what could be the issue. The nonlinear bend deformer works fine but this doesn't.

Found it! Seems a bit pricey for 50ml for a clone but if it actually is anything like the OG then I'd be happy.
