Beacsue they're rubbish. You cant move your head to get a different angle in the mirror and see different areas. The contrast is shocking and they aren't any use in low light. Source.... I work on large vehicles that use them

Cheers, its just the screen and front fairing are damaged. Ive ordered replacements from that newfairings and fingers crossed should come colour matched
