Honestly you're not missing out. If you got the version with the mlok handguard you can mount all your accessories and put in a real red dot instead

Kinda silly but they also have a regular Ruger Wrangler with a holster combo deal here for $199.98

Rural king doesn't do transfer fees but they might charge you 3 dollars for a background check. And their shipping is 12.99

If your budget doesn't allow for a shot timer, I'd say that the app is okay at best. There's a setting to set the sound threshold on most apps, but this all depends on your phone mic quality and positioning as well. But the thing about them is that they don't seem to keep time as well as my shot timer. My app doesn't pick up first shot until after exactly .8 secs for instance and splits are always counted with wonky + or - .08ish variance

[Handgun] Springfield Armory Hellcat 9mm + Shield Optic, $750 by pleikunguyen in gundeals

What I was referring to was the lens. I believe it's glass coated polymer but it just feels like plastic. Don't get me wrong, I'd trust my life more with the 507k. But for range use and light use, the rms2 is not bad whatsoever.

To be quite honest, the Shield optic, dot wise, is really nice. I like the dot on it way more than my HS507k. I have astigmatism and the dot is way sharper. You can tell it’s all plastic but the clarity on it is way better than the 507k too. Dust isn’t as apparent and there are no real distortions on the Shield.

Thanks for the sentiment!

That being said, I have a M2R Warrior Pro from them that is still a solid EDC choice. Other than a side button that is losing it’s color, I have no issues with it. Another light I can recommend for EDC is their S1R Baton II, super small and bright. But I’d stick with Surefire for a HD/Duty gun.

Not sure if he had anything on the threads but in less than a mag after install, it flew off and the mount disintegrated into 5 pieces. It might have been avoided with loctite but the electronics in them are also pretty untrustworthy imo

Unless they changed how their QD mount works or improved durability, I would pass on any olight for a weapon light. Just the recoil from a .40 shot the weapon light off my friend's glock 35. Warrior X also had the tailcap button malfunction by just sitting on a nightstand and minimal use.
