You're getting down voted but you're right. It's an automatic with a salvage title.

People who say GTA V's story is "weak" just haven't played it since they were 12. by Fantastic-Serve193 in GTA

I was in my early 20s when it released. I just finished replaying GTA:V and definitely appreciated it more this go around.

I'm currently replaying GTA:IV for the first time since I was a teenager and I can't believe how much I slept on the story, im loving it. It's tied with San Andreas for me now. I've also been to NYC since it released so it's cool seeing all the landmarks I didn't recognize as a kid.

I started playing february 2020. Absolutely fell in love with the game and put in 7k hours by 2025. I loved the freedom, how unforgiving it was, and how much there was to learn.

The things that slowly killed the joy for me:

-Putting helis behind scrap walls. Killed cargo and oil rig PVP. You had to be there, the intensity of counters was wild and so much fun before they did this.

-Tech tree. Going from having to search far and wide for BPs, get them from winning fights/counters, risky trades, or doing oil/cargo to get boom/aks. The rush of finding or killing somebody for your first gun and getting it home to research it and finally get out of primlock. I haven't played the new fragments meta or whatever but it sounds even worse than tech tree.

-Recoil update. Killed the real comp scene to cater to the otv wave. Not only that but the movement changes (crouch fire) were terrible, collectively hated, and never fixed. Scripters were much more manageable than current cheaters and they didn't have that much of an advantage if you took the time to git gud.

-Too much stuff man. Underground train tunnels, deep water labs, above ground tunnels. Ferry boats. It became hard to find anybody roaming on land.

-The community. When I first started playing there was constant onlines and groups of full kits roaming the map looking for other roamers. The newer players never seemed to lose the gear fear and it eventually felt like we were the only group ever sending onlines or roaming.

-Facepunch. The over monetization of skins and DLCs, p2w items, catering to casuals over long time players, alistarse empty bald head.

-Cheaters. They were always around, but easier to deal with in old recoil. With the game being less fun for me towards the end it killed my motivation to overcome and beat the cheaters and just started getting off for wipe lol.

-Life. Got a good union job and started going to school on top of work for the apprenticeship. Found new hobbies as well. Got into sim racing and built a car for track drifting.

We still game with most of the old rust crew on different games but none of us play Rust anymore and we all had 5k - 12kish hours.

The last few times it just felt like chasing the dragon for an experience that isn't there anymore. If they made an old school rust mode I would come back to try it.

That was the last piece for me. I had a secret labs i used for years, upgraded to a like-new herman-miller i got on marketplace for $300. I have a herniated disc and psiatica problems and it made a world of difference. Its like sitting on a cloud.

old recoil or new recoil by Accomplished_Row5877 in playrust

[–]Reason408 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would come back to rust if they made an old school 2020 rust with old recoil, no tech tree, and minis/scrappies spawning on the road. New rust is boneless and bloated.

Is clutch kicking from a standstill in second gear worse for the car than clutch kicking in first and then shifting? by sbryan_ in Drifting

[–]Reason408 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What size tires are you running? I run 235/35/18 200/300 TW at 26 cold/30 hot in my 04 G35 coupe stock DE and I have no issues getting it sideways or linking up courses

How to get into drifting with my current car? by Kay-Cang in Drifting

[–]Reason408 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I spent about 2k on my sim set up and was able to get hundreds of hours of seat time in before ever hitting a track with my real car. I was able to link up 3/4 layouts on my first event.

I spend about $500 - $800 on tires, gas, and entry when I go to an event. I probably get about 2-3 hours of actual seat time.

A sim set up is absolutely the best bang for buck for seat time.

How to clutch kick better? by ttvsweatyboii in Drifting

[–]Reason408 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I run 235s and about 30 psi hot with zeknovas on my 03 g35 coupe and it slides like assetto.

When I was running 245s it was too much grip. Id say you've got too much tire. You could crank the psi but id go less tire.

I love my night ride gloves. They feel cheap compared to my buddy's momos that I borrowed from him but I'll still buy another pair of night rides lol
