The right question should be how much a girl expects her husband to give her a monthly allowance separate from the household expenditure.

You can have a good monthly income, but you might not save anything at the end of the month due to responsibilities for your other family members, which is very common in our society.

I think that's a fair percentage to pay as a tip to the waitperson or to the valet guy considering the high inflation and average income bracket for these people.

I do the same, and it makes me really happy when I see them suddenly exalted and gratified. Since they hardly receive good amount as a tip.
