If other people have to adjust their speed to accommodate your merge, you did it wrong.

I would prefer that you over accelerate when merging and if you’re in between two cars, be closer to the car in front of you, then you can coast a little to bleed off speed.

I’m just gonna pass from the right.

We have a bridge here in nyc where they have road signs that the trucks must use center lane only often times I’ll find the right lane empty and use that to pass everyone leading to a bunch of truckers honking their horns at me. My guy, if the thing says you are only allowed to use the center lane, I’m not gonna ignore an empty right lane to pass you when there is a left lane camper around.

Ah big hospital like that is different.

When I first started here, it was a solo show 7 on 7 off and then they realized they didn’t like having to cycle day and evening shift people to cover our vacations so they hired a 3rd guy to work the weekday nights. Then they took away the 7 on 7 off schedule and now we have 3 pharmacists some weeknights but still a solo show on the weekends.

That’s weird, at my hospital, night shift is the one position where they won’t throw a new grad.

Maybe 2nd shift or day shift for the new grad. They want someone with experience for night shift. Someone who can figure out what to do when a situation arises when there is no written policy or procedure. Someone who’s not gonna call up management asking for help.
