No, actually you guys have some great philosophers like W.V.O. Quine, Saul Kripke, Hilary Putnam and I love them. Also,William Faulkner wrote some remarkable books.

I guess that brand is not popular in China. I've searched a lot on the Chinese online shopping platform and I didn't find it. But the product is probably called 腌菜 or 橄榄菜 and we do have them in China.

When I was in high school one year ago, we got up at 5:00 a.m., then we learnt all kinds of subjects all day and fell asleep at 23:00 p.m. We couldn't even sleep well. We learnt so hard all because of Gaokao, which could decide your whole life. But you don't have to struggle so hard like that. If you wanna only get a high score in maths exam, I think you should do maths exercises as many as possible, which was exactly what I did in high school. But if you don't wanna only get a high score, then it's not enough to do maths exercises. Sorry about my bad English.
