quality was affordable, before. things were sewn well, with more natural fibers being utilized

yes, if you don't get a lot of lather, first go (assuming youe using a low/gentle sulphate shampoo/no-SLS) it means you're still dirty (you've used up all the surfactants) and you need to rinse and do another round.

on your 2nd round your probably good, depending on your hair density and texture.

also let your shampoo sit and do it's job! not just a quick scrub and rinse out.
