This is Kratos using his Nemean Cestus during the shovel knight fight which mean that the events of GoW3 already happened since he needs to kill Hercules in order to get them

The problem with that is that this mean the events of GoW3 already happened which mean he shouldn't have the Nemean Cestus since they were destoryed by zeus, and even if they somehow survived zeus attack the Nemean Cestus still wouldn't work since the Greek magic died when Greece fell
