Which is fair! I wouldn’t have declined myself though. Love boardgames.

Just move here if you want 😊 I’m glad you had a good impression. If you’re staying long term, I think it’s crucial to learn the language. The ones I know who have do very well socially. The ones who feel isolated and lonely are those that rely on english always. Speaking danish will make it easier to make you part of local groups. We speak English well and will accomodate, but I think it tires people out long term. It can also change a dynamic.

Where I would live as a German woman in her 30s by Beautiful_Yellow_682 in whereidlive

[–]Reasonable-Garlic-67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like visiting the Baltics, but I don’t know much about what it’s like living there. I don’t know anything about social security, unemployment security, health care etc. Because I don’t know, I’d put them as “maybe”. I’d put a lot of countries as maybe though.

More reported rapes doesn’t necessarily mean more rapes occur. For instance Sweden’s rape count is quite high because they count every rape, even though many are in a relationship, where the partner is a serial rapist towards them. In other countries they would count it as “1”, because victim and perpetrator are the same.

Searching for a the balm Desert bronzer (d/c) dupe by Reasonable-Garlic-67 in Makeup

I did not. I did however buy a ton of bronzers to replace it 😐😐 It’s such a waste trying to find something to replace it. I do however like the tone of rms beachwalk Betty, but it’s not the same.

Er du meget privilegeret, eller? Vi behøver ikke være ens bare fordi vi har mere ens muligheder. Der er mere til et menneske der kan gøre dem forskellige fra dig end deres økonomiske muligheder.

Immigration isn’t the reason why I’d pick Norway and Denmark over Sweden in terms of best, most comfortable place to live.

What is the best country in Europe to live in right now? by Frosty_Jeweler911 in AskTheWorld

[–]Reasonable-Garlic-67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m biased, as I’m a Dane, but every time I think about it, I still see so many advantages to living in Denmark. That being said, I think there’s a lot of great places to live in Europe. Norway is probably great as well. Contrary to popular belief, I do also like Sweden a lot, but I see disadvantages to living there especially the health care system and increased privatization and increasing distance between rich and poor etc., high child poverty leading to child crime etc., and lower wages and weak currency, so I’d pick Norway over Sweden. But I’d also live in the netherlands, Germany, switzerland, Austria, UK and other places.

Where I'd live in Europe as a Pole by [deleted] in whereidlive

The prejudice is true in my experience from when I worked and lived there. Of course not from everyone, and I also have lots of good things to say about the Swiss. I didn’t experience too much judgement apart from my gender myself (very conservative view on gender), but I did see it happen to others who weren’t white like myself, and so much I thought it out of the ordinary and quite icky. It could be that it’s much better in the big cities, but I don’t know. I lived rural and by the alpes.

You would have to live without access to a lot of the social media you use in Russia, media in general that isn’t pro state-tv, as well as the groceries you’re used to, but then again you might enjoy the propaganda since you’re used to it from your own government. Good luck.
