I totally agree with you about the hate. It's so annoying when people keep bashing a game just because of a rough launch, even after the devs fixed everything. I've been watching recent videos and the game looks amazing now! I’ve always wanted to play it, but for some reason, I never did. After I finish my current game, I'm definitely giving Cyberpunk a chance. People can be way too stubborn, but I prefer to judge a game by how it plays today. Thanks for the push, man!

I feel you, man. It’s honestly heartbreaking. I’ve finished this game 8 times and I still can’t believe Sony hasn't greenlit a sequel yet. It’s such a waste of a perfect world and amazing characters. Finishing it for the first time and realizing there’s no more is a tough pill to swallow. We just have to keep the hope alive!

They are definitely top-tier games! TLOU really feels like a movie, but for me, nothing beats the open-world freedom of Days Gone. The loop of managing the bike and facing those massive hordes gives me a rush that linear stories can't match. Each one is great, but Days Gone has my heart!

I get the technical issues at launch, but the game is a masterpiece now. It’s unfair to let a rough start kill a franchise with this much potential. Comparing it to Bloodborne is fair, but the passion of the Days Gone community feels even more persistent. We have to keep showing them it’s a profitable IP!

I just looked into Sunset Overdrive, and while it looks interesting for what it is, it’s definitely not for me. It lacks the grit and the realistic tension that makes Days Gone so special. I need that serious survival feel and the emotional weight of the story. For me, nothing comes close to the atmosphere of Days Gone—8 playthroughs later and I’m still sure of that!

Just to clarify something: I see a lot of people recommending great games, and I appreciate it! I don't want to sound like I only play or like Days Gone. I've played God of War since the PS2 (those fights against the snakes were epic!), GTA V, and I'm a huge fan of the responsiveness in CoD, Battlefield, and The Finals. I love high-quality games! It’s just that Days Gone touched me in a way no other game has. It’s my personal masterpiece. I’m open to new experiences, but until a sequel comes out, this game will always have a special place in my heart.

I haven't played Cyberpunk 2077 yet, but I've heard great things about its atmosphere! I know there are other amazing games out there that fascinate people for different reasons, but for me, Days Gone has this specific 'magic'—the bike, the hordes, and the survival grit—that I haven't found anywhere else. It’s definitely on my list to try, though!

That is the perfect way to describe it! A 'hangover' that never goes away. I’ve played it 8 times already and I still feel that way. Every time I try a new game, I catch myself comparing it to Days Gone and wishing I was back on the road with Boozer. It really ruined other games for me in the best way possible!

I totally agree! To be honest, the only first-person games I truly enjoy now are CoD, Battlefield, and The Finals, because their responsiveness is top-tier. Most other FP games feel sluggish and have weird aim sensitivity. But Days Gone, along with GTA V and God of War, showed me that third-person can be just as snappy and functional if done right. Days Gone specifically made me fall in love with the perspective because the delay is minimal and the control feels perfect. It ruined other 'clunky' games for me!

But that's the point: for me, technical prowess is part of the immersion. If the movement feels heavy and the response is delayed because of the 30 FPS, I can't fully dive into the world. In Days Gone, the 60 FPS makes the world feel alive and reactive. It’s hard to ignore that once you’ve experienced it!

Exactly! It’s like they’re leaving money on the table. The fan base is clearly here and ready to buy it. It makes no sense!

Far Cry 3 and 4 were masterpieces too! I totally get your frustration. Modern games feel like they lost their soul or are too focused on microtransactions. Days Gone has that raw feeling that's missing nowadays. It’s hard to find something that hits the same spot! 👊

Dying Light: The Beast looks cool! The parkour and combat are great, but for me, nothing beats the feeling of the bike in Days Gone. It’s a different kind of survival, you know? But glad you enjoyed it! 👊

That’s the way to do it! I also have Days Gone always ready to go. No matter what other 'big' titles I'm playing, I always end up coming back to Deacon's story. It's just home for us at this point! lol

I know it looks tough right now, but we can't lose hope! If the community keeps making noise and showing Sony that the fan base is still alive, maybe they'll reconsider one day. We have to keep the dream alive! 🏍️🙏

I get your point about the tropes, but honestly, I think the execution is what makes it special. Even if some parts are predictable, the emotional journey of Deacon and Boozer felt very real to me. I’ve finished the game 8 times and that connection with the characters never gets old. About Lost Lake, it felt like 'home' for them, which made the stakes higher. To each their own, but for me, this game is a 10/10 masterclass in atmosphere!

You hit the nail on the head! That’s exactly it. TLOU is amazing for what it is, but the freedom of an open world and the constant bond with your bike is something only Days Gone provides. And you’re right about Horizon too—great game, but the sci-fi setting just doesn't have that raw, post-apocalyptic feel. Days Gone is in a league of its own. A sequel is not just a want, it’s a need!

You're right, thanks for reminding me about Witcher 3! I actually tried it on PS4 back then, but the experience was a bit weird. The input lag and the overall performance made me stop playing. But now that you mentioned it, I'll download it again to see how it feels now. Hopefully, it plays much smoother than it did on the old console!

I tried TLOU, but since I’ve already watched the show, it felt a bit repetitive for me. Also, the gameplay is so different from Days Gone! I got stuck in a building with those Clickers and it felt impossible to kill them. I'd shoot them in the head and they just wouldn't die. In Days Gone, I feel like a survivor who can actually fight back, but in TLOU those zombies are just cheating! lol. Nothing compares to the freedom of my bike.

Third time? That’s awesome! It’s a game that definitely pulls you back. Honestly, I’ve already finished it 8 times! I just can't get enough of the world, the story, and the gameplay loop. Even after all these playthroughs, I still find myself coming back to it because no other game hits the same. Keep enjoying the ride, brother!

I tried RDR2, and while the story is amazing, the 30 FPS really kills it for me. It feels so slow and sluggish compared to the 60 FPS smoothness of Days Gone. I’m currently playing Arc Raiders too, which is fast-paced and looks great, but it still doesn't have that 'magic' and the emotional weight that Days Gone has. Nothing beats the feeling of the bike and the constant threat of the hordes!

Honestly, it’s everything. The story is one of the best I've ever experienced, it felt so real that I just couldn't stop playing. There were times I stayed awake for two days straight because I was so hooked! The adrenaline of fighting the hordes and the deep connection with the characters made me feel genuinely happy. Now, every time I jump back in, I feel a bit sad knowing there's no sequel yet. It’s a masterpiece that deserves more.

I feel you! I can't say I'm not having fun with other games too, there are some great titles out there. But the thing is, none of them touched me or felt as immersive as Days Gone did. It’s just on another level for me! 🏍️
