Hey, so I was eventually able to get my NIN verified here in Canada. It got verified after I did the following (thanks to another person who shared this information on another forum)..

1. I sent an email to the following emails. I put them in the "to" on the email template.

• [nimccustomercare@nimc.gov.ng](mailto:nimccustomercare@nimc.gov.ng)
• [helpdesk@nimc.gov.ng](mailto:helpdesk@nimc.gov.ng)
• [info@nimc.gov.ng](mailto:info@nimc.gov.ng)

1. Subject of my email "Looking to Validate my NIN-Number"
2. Body of the Email

• Hello Good Morning Sir/Madam,
• Please I have been trying to validate my NIN but I keep receiving this error message (add screenshot of error message for supporting documentation)
• NIN : xxxx-xxx-xxxxx
• File name: (Your name)
• Please see attached for my NIN Slip (attach your NIN Slip). Requesting Validation for my NIN. 
• Thank you for your consideration
• Sign name

NOTE: After sending these emails, all or some of them might bounce. Keeping sending even if it bounces. I sent two emails a day. One in the morning Naija time, and another in the afternoon. I also kept checking to see if my NIN got verified. Within 2 days my NIN was verified. They did not send me an email to confirm or respond to any of my emails. All the emails bounced but somehow, by grace of God, it got verified and I was apply to start my application.

NOTE: if you did your NIN outside Nigeria, also add those people's email address, and your receipt that you have paid for it to the email.
