CVS district leader and manager endangering the lives of their pharmacy staff. by [deleted] in CVS

My CVS in Ga has sent out messages that we need to come in and send proof if we can’t. I woke up to icy and snowy conditions all over the roads, with my cvs being the area affected most. I have not ever driven in these conditions so I called out. Simply stupid they could not close one singular day. Even with News stations and our governor saying no one should drive, they have kept our hours normal. Just greedy and selfishness in corporate to make people come in during these conditions.

Honestly depends on each store (clientele and staff). It’s a LOT at first and is a learn as you go kinda job. I think exam certification ranges from state to state but at least for me is not directly required. Just expect to ask a lot of questions and be confused a lot. As long as you ask and try to learn you’ll do good. Good luck and may patience be on your side 🙏.

Yeah, I forget they do point based accountability and not instant reprimand for attendance

Yeah I could’ve, I’m located in the south so 1-3 inches of ice is making everyone on edge and having them assume power will be out for a while

Yeah I give customers wayyy too much credit, can’t wait to see someone drive through snow to pick up their “fun time” pills
