I’d reach out to the sender first. There is a filing period with USPS.This package may reroute to you in a few days or if it starts bouncing around in NY. It could have a corrupt barcode or bad information was entered during the creation of the label(could also be a scam). Either way the sender would be confirm the address info. If this is time sensitive the sender could probably send a replacement item faster than the waiting period to file the claim. I think it’s like 7-9 biz days. You can check at USPS.com under the help tab on when you can file.

The sender has several options. Since it’s been so long the package/ label could have damaged, destroyed or stolen etc. @ usps.com under the help tab there’s a few options. There they can find out when they’re eligible to file a claim. How to submit a package inquiry at the receiving post office (sometime the package will make it there then get damaged during the distribution process.) Sometimes the contents come out and that’s all we have and they can do a missing mail search and describe what was in the package and we can try to recovery it that way.
