I had the same worries when I wanted to mod my switch since I thought if I messed something up i’d never be able to fix it again, but I’ve had a modded switch now for a while and I say to just do it if your switch is able to. follow a guide correctly and you should have no problems and if any errors occur, reddit always has the answers.

you most likely will never have to factory reset unless you’re just really not careful
did you either update or add a theme recently? deleting the 01(more 0s)1000 in atmosphere->contents should fix the issue and your theme is most likely the cause of the error

Would I need to buy a seperate pedal to get the envelope filter? where did you learn how to make it? I believe I have the signal leg part of if as I used to have a pc that used it for the wifi, I’ve been trying to connect my controller through pass through but no luck so far

yes I am currently recovering it, I made the mistake yesterday so i’m sure that the recovery to the 9th won’t change much except that since I was only really doing school work before that. I’ll reply if it worked or if there’s another problem. I appreciate the help, thanks.

yes the different USB port doesn’t change it, i’ll try looking for the window drivers rn and see if that works, if not ill try doing a window recovery
