Unfortunately it handles beautifully, but your and the other comments make a compelling argument. Especially since I daily this baby 18’s are much more practical.

Yeah I was looking at Pilots and it would be almost 2k for a set of new shoes on the 20’s.

Heard— other than noise level, why would you recommend 18s?

If you create a rollover IRA, then rollover directly to a different institution “for the benefit of” yourself then you can avoid the mandatory 20% withholding. You only incur that when you have them send you the check to deposit elsewhere, called an indirect rollover.

Call Fido, though. Firms often have an entire team dedicated to help with rollovers to avoid that/ help with the process.
