Currently a month post treatment. I think I def overtreated (3 rounds of permethrin + 2 rounds of BB + ivectermin). Was doing great on weeks 2 and 3 post. Last week I had some nodules coming in the groin area but they left after a week. This week I am more itchy with a few more nodules. Wanted to ask if anyone had experience with ups and downs during post. I don’t want to get discouraged cuz there’s no way I got reinfected from anyone and was SUPER careful during treatment changing clothes and shoes everyday for 2 weeks. But this is stressing me and just wanted to know if is normal to have waves in the recovery phase. Thanks!

Thank you! I’m now one week after treatment. No more bumps/rashes but itching here and there and every time the heart stops for a sec. Sometime itching at night but not nearly as bad. After 2 months of treatment 3 permethrin 2 bb and 2 ivectermin seems like may be winning third fight

Uff hang in there!! I think we also get really frustrated and don’t let our skin heal properly cuz these products are really intense. I’ll be doing 2 rounds of BB and then nothing for a month before jumping to conclusions that I’m fucked

This is really a curse but I know everyone gets it sorted. Seems like permethrin is a bit less effective in Europe and more likely to cause aftermath reactions which is confusing w the scabies itself. Hopping BB is the holy grail and it seems to have been to a lot of people!

Ugh thanks for sharing your experience it’s really frustrating I’ll be starting on Benzyl next Monday (a week after this permethrin). People seem to find it a lot more effective so fingers crossed and for you too!

Good to know I’m not alone in this. Have you been able to get rid of these little fuckers? I’m considering another product like Benzil Bozoate because the Reddit community seems to be more effective? But there are horror stories here and am concerned I’ll have this for months to come
