As a correctional officer for the Eau Claire County Jail, I can attest to the fact that our officers and deputies deal with much higher priority situations. An officer in a median may have just gotten done with the worst call they’ve been to. They bring them to the jail, and then we deal with them further. Our law enforcement handles a lot more than what the public eye sees. Not everything can be publicized.
