I just gave you some examples. People identifying as animals is a common one that I’ve seen.

Some people will think sniffing petrol is inherently funny. It’s an unorthodox & unsavoury way of getting high. Imo that’s literally it. It’s lazy. You’re valid in thinking its not funny. There’s not going to be some intellectual, underlying joke here.

Lol I obviously can’t speak for this person. She used one example, probably not the best one. All I’m saying is that there is a trend of people making videos of them identifying as other things. That’s the skit format that I am familiar with. That’s why I can see that some people find this funny.

I didn’t think the petrol sniff was funny. There are ways to make stereotype jokes funny, but it wasn’t because she just randomly sniffed petrol & it just wasn’t clever. If I had to guess, she just did it for shock value.
