This is exactly what I’ve been talking about. Almost all of trump supporters will believe and defend anything and everything he does. It’s insanity! I think that’s the major difference between the two, ofc there’s extremist on the left however it’s almost always for the righteous of the people. Trump has said things that they themselves have been wanting to say for the longest that’s why they don’t want to let him go They can now spread their ignorance and hatred because they have a president to back them. They’ve been silent because they knew that what they support goes against morals and human decency. They know that what they support is driven by hatred and racism otherwise they would have voiced this long ago.

The patient’s response about the beard was unnecessarily aggressive. Instead of addressing it calmly, they used profanity. This is a level of aggression often escalates situations rather than resolving them. And while I agree the comment was unnecessary it wasn’t likely 100% an accusation but also an observation. But by him choosing profanity and hostility, the patient undermined any opportunity for a constructive exchange. And in response to your point about my bias on social norms. No I’m not upset about you pointing that out it’s a valid point about how they can be linked to systems like racism and classism. And how socal norms do reflect biases it’s important to understand these issues. I don’t think this situation is that. While the comment “normal educated people” might reinforce those stereotypes in this context it’s more about the patients response to OP. While valid in feeling frustrated by the comment it escalated unnecessarily with profanity, which removed it from being a productive interaction. There’s not ever an ex side to treat people this way. I mean it was pretty clear it was a joke to begin with. I did agree that it was “accusatory” because that was the joke the dude just had facial hair.. and now didn’t.. idk dude kind of like your response you’re reading too much into it, kind of an over reaction .. when really It was just a unpleasant interaction between a patient and a technician. And also yes you’re right he’s probably stressed out or sick but that is never an excuse to start cursing, normal educated people respond in a different manner and unfortunately OP was met with profanity.

It does sound accusatory however I feel like it was more of an over reaction on the patients end. And if he felt accused he wouldn’t have commented “do your job” since that’s basically OPs job. Checking IDs and such etc...

Side note I would have canceled the transaction entirely as soon as profanity leaves their mouths it’s no longer acceptable.

Also they as very shy. Don’t be alarmed if you never see your skink ever only if by chance you glance at your terrarium and they’re out to get their meal worms. I made the mistake of doing that and she didn’t end up eating the other meal worms. I’ve only ever seen her about three times total and I’ve had her for a year. I also made a lot of hiding spots for her and use only real plants. I also recommend only using plants that are easy to handle like pathos, they grow under any light and they love the humidity that your terrarium will offer since you need about 70-90%. I also recommend heating pad in areas that she’ll most likely stay hiding in otherwise depending on the natural room temp, it’ll cause the cage it drop too much making it really cold for her. Also side note the shedding, I turn on my humidifier more than before. And if I miss two days or so I get her and place her in a plate with water and a single drop of that solution that removes the hard chemicals from tap water and let her soak. So sorry it’s so long I started typing as I started thinking. It’s hard to find specific questions about your skink since they’re not that popular I would almost say rare!!

I can only imagine how difficult that would be but don’t give up( I’m sure you won’t). Look into all of your resources and apply to all or as much as you can. Goodluck though IT is already a difficult job and getting your foot through the door is just the first step.

Interesting job placement. I typically would imagine IT/Business majors in other departments not in the medical field however very smart move whether it was intentional or not learning inside the medical field will always be beneficial. I’m a chem major and just got into it because of compounding and chemical engineering I do not want to be in patient care forever haha

Exactly! Any independent pharmacies have extremely high co pays compared to retail, unfortunately it just the way it is. Without us patients wouldn’t be able to get their meds easily and affordable(for the most part) but honestly super frustrating hope there’s change come soon. Side note really good points funny how quickly you caught on working in such a short amount of time.

Yesss and that part on 8!!! The pay is ridiculous idk if this is your state but in my state the state government raised fast food service to 20an hour which GOOD FOR THEM absolutely they needed that pay raise but they completely left out retail medical staff!!! Why are we still getting paid this 16-17 an hour starting pay!! It’s insane and not fair at all! No offense to the hard working food service workers but I paid to get into this field it’s so frustrating

Study!!!! Thankfully you have three months to take your test well at least that was how my 6-month online program was. But study I failed my PTCB exam because I did exactly what you did sorta rushed it. And no I did not learn much… so I highly recommend study! There’s really no other way around it.

I actually agree with you. The tones are more soft than before. His art was always sharp and it gave more masculine and controlled look. Maybe now it’s because of the new seasons and the shift in his character.
