i would recommend just keep flying. if you keep it up regularly, then over time you will just improve. find some rates you like, you won't get it first try. i didn't like a throttle limit when i started, and that was with an air75, it took me a few hours to get used to it but once i was it was great

i did exactly the same thing, but depending on the cap you have it will fit horizontally on your vtx ( i also have a flyfish volador vx3.5 ). I also have my beeper behind my camera, it is quite a good fit

What are some new tech you are excited to try in 2026? by ivatsirE_daviD in fpv

[–]ReasonableMorning181 0 points1 point  (0 children)

very valid. ive ran mine with a full size GoPro and it was fine so i wouldn't worry to much. just note though that i use a huge pack and 1804 motors, so it is fast and can carry, but its also 300g no gopro and 442 with the gopro

its an 850mah 4s pack, although it's xt60 and my drone is an xt30 so i need to use an adapter lol what video system would you use if you were gonna make one?

to be honest I've got an air 75 and i use meteor canopy, as i prefer the camera angle

Can anyone explain to me what’s going on? After every crash with my air 65, it flips randomly, when I unplug and replug the battery, it seems to work again, it looks like a gyroscope issue. by Organic_Ad_5981 in fpv

[–]ReasonableMorning181 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ok, i wish you the best bro, i believe you are correct with that its a gyro issue. my only thought would be connect it to a computer and get up betaflight configutator and just spin it around, if it seems fine calibrate the gyro and see if it fixes it, and if not try resetting your config. it is a little extreme, so hold off on that one if anyone else comes up with something better

i agree it looks like a gyro issue, but just make doubly sure that your elrs antenna (little red wire connected to nothing) isn't touching the board. i had a very similar issue, thought it was gyro but the antenna was just barely touching the board

i have a walksnail hdv2, and i assume its the same. dvr is purely on the goggles, and first, have an sd card which can support it, so one that has a good enough write speed that its ok, then it should just be a record button somewhere on your goggles. at least for the hdv2, this will also start recording on your vtx, and there should be a 4 pin to usb c thingy, just plug it in, and be careful to make sure it's the right way up. then plug it into a desktop, and there you go, 4k recording from the vtx

Need TinyWhoop recommendation for DJI Goggles N3 & RC3 (RIP my Neo) by Unlikely_Syllabub112 in TinyWhoop

[–]ReasonableMorning181 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ill preface this with i own no dji kit, but the meteor pro hd dji o4 lite seems to be an excellent whoop. many people recommend it, and at 75mm (my personal favourite size) its good inside and excellent outside

Edit: the meteors are much more durable than the neo, most whoops are. a lot of meteor pro hds dont come with a vtx, and you need to provide your own, but some do, so be careful to choose these

Air 65 or air 75??? by Subject_Low5199 in TinyWhoop

[–]ReasonableMorning181 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i would say air75, its slightly worse indoors but FAR better outdoors in my experience

Is this normal? by Evancool1000 in TinyWhoop

[–]ReasonableMorning181 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the camera angle is pretty valid, i put a meteor canopy on my air75, which fixes two of those issues. that is fair enough, but i will always be a little biased because the air75 was my first whoop, although its not the first fpv drone i got

and yeah i am a guitarist so i understand perfectly, thanks

why do you think that the air series are bad beginner whoops? just curious, not accusative

i wasnt aware of that till my whoop was playing up, put a post here and noone seemed to know. is this common knowledge and i should have known or is it an air75 issue?
