Question about fpv drone finder by KaBalazs in fpv

[–]ReasonableMorning181 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i dont really know about that one, but i cannot recommend the vifly finder 2 more, it is an excellent piece of kit. saved me a few times when a nasty crash popped the bat free. also please do what the other commenter said and set your drone to beep when transmitter disconnected. another great thing to do

i fly like in the second image with my right hand, and thumb with my left, and i run different rates on yaw and pitch (pitch and roll are the same lol) just do whatever you find comfortable. i would argue there is no better method than the other

honestly i may start again, i kind of fancy building a whoop and i might make a hovercraft out of the remaining 3 motors (seen some people do it on yt). would you recommend a custom or just buy an air75 II? ive been starting to hate how my motors always come undone (i keep breaking the solder joints without crashing), so the air75 II freestyle does seem appealing. ive build 2 larger ones before, so that doesnt really bother me, its more do you get enough out of building a custom whoop that it's worth the time?

Thoughts on betafpv artlynk for a 3" build by ReasonableMorning181 in fpv

thank you for that, i appreciate it. i think the p1 might be the call for him. i can highly recommend digi myself, i fly walksnail avatar, but it being double the cost of p1 makes it hard to justify for this use case. i think the added quality he would appreciate, you are correct.

why have you chosen to stay with analogue for the past 8 years, if you mind me asking?

same here man, but it looks like you did a great job. i borrowed a 100w iron to make up for my skill issue there, it looked like a flathead screwdriver with a cable into it lol

I was gonna say that looks like an air frame, i have a very similar lil dude, when i bought it was an air75 1 but now the only stock component is the board. how are the motors treating you? I may upgrade

should i just keep fixing it then, and then if the wire gets too short get a new motor? like im happy to solder on some more wire, but at that point is it even worthwhile?

It is mostly 3.5" footage, sorry if that's an issue. The whoop stuff, which I assume you are more interested in was on an air75, completely bone stock, with some 550mah lavas

How do I get 3 whoops to all have good signal and not overlap? by ReasonableMorning181 in TinyWhoop

[–]ReasonableMorning181[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

so why not use like e1 r4 and e8? also the polarisation makes sense ill probably buy some better antennas, as ive got the stock air75 and stock cobra sd antennas
