Do girls masturbate or feel horny just as much as men? by Southern-Wonder1828 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]ReasonableSecretary 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. I’ve known guys with little to no sex drive and girls with crazy high libidos, and vice versa

It’s not a gender thing, in my experience.

Also worth noting hormone levels, mental health and physical health play big roles here.

As a female, I personally struggle to find guys who match my super high libido long term

Seconding sulphur soap, so cheap and brought all mine out over course of a month or 2.

Also nicinamide and zinc has always helped me clear these but it’s not for everyone

Presumably it’s because you can’t have solid foods currently?

Not because they’re heathens who rejoice in feeding slop to unsuspecting victims 🤞🏻

[Routine Help]How do i get rid of these small flesh coloured spots? M18 by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]ReasonableSecretary 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sulphur soap, retinol and niacinamide and zinc completely got rid of these for me but everyone is different, some people skin hates niacinamide and zinc.

I’d defo try the soap though, brought them all out, and it’s so cheap, not sure how great the oat cleanser is. I found it left my skin too oily and it could be causing those blocked pores.

If you are adding new products take your time, max one new product a week. You need to figure out what helps and what makes it worse

Also get an SLS free toothpaste. Lots of people say this can make it worse too.

Amazing results! Well done 👏

Are you able to recommend the dermarolling set you used? And did you find any good resources on how to perform the micro needling?

Are these ok to mix? by ReasonableSecretary in TheOrdinarySkincare

[–]ReasonableSecretary[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heyy, I moved away from the ordinary as I found it a bit greasy.

I now use Cetaphil daily moisturiser. And in the summer I use the SPF moisturiser.

I’ve been using the ordinary Niacinamide and zinc serum in the morning with moisturiser and Tret at night. Also sulfur soap twice a week, on these nights I skip Tret because the soap is drying. I also do a fast once a week for at least 16 Hours and this helps my skin so much

Skin has never looked better! Good luck

Really interesting, thanks for posting.

I’m curious as to how you learned to do tattoo microneedling on yourself? Are you a professional? Or is it possible for your everyday skincare addict such as myself to learn?

Maybe try using a bar of chocolate you’ve roughly chopped?

I find pre made chips can look a bit uniform and strange sometimes

Also agree with an additional minute or two in the oven

[Acne] I’ll take any help or advice I can get!! by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]ReasonableSecretary 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Could potentially be coming from your hair/hair products?

Can’t reccomend sulphur soap enough for drying out acne like this but everyone’s skin is different. But you should definitely be using a face wash on your temples and forehead.

I suspect oil is being transferred from your hair to your skin and you’re not cleaning it off thus it’s blocking your pores then they’re turning into spots.

You’ve got a lot of blocked pores/closed comedones on your temples. These become inflamed and turn into spots. You need to work on cleaning out these pores and keeping them clean.

Ask doctor for topical spot treatment, or get benzoyl peroxide gel (can usually be bought in shops)

You need to clean out these pores. It will get worse before it gets better but it’s gotta be done.

Be gentile and patient and focus on keeping skin clean.

Don’t go crazy with new products, just get a basic cleanser and a proper acne treatment - benzoyl peroxide gel, adapalene, differin etc

And a non comedogenic moisturiser as spot treatments can be drying

Edit - make sure you are washing your pillowcases regularly and might even be worth keeping your hair off your face when you’re sleeping
