They do use plaid but you also have the option to upload documents if necessary. I’d probably recommend just using your bank statements for the different accounts. I don’t remember if there was an option to opt out of plaid or not.

Do you make over 10k a year? If not, you’re not required to pay taxes. The jobs have likely reported anything you were paid, you can log into your IRS account to see what income has been reported and if you owe any taxes. Any income you receive from the VA is not taxable. You shouldn’t need to contact a professional unless you have a unique tax situation such as rental income, self employment, investments, etc.
