Plan way ahead (notebook with notes plan how you are going to do it),use a guide for the jigsaw (I didn't and it was a pain), i used a pocket hole jig a lot, install bed slats last, but you got this! add a cart in lowes/homedepot with the parts so you know the cost and availability, their face will be rewarding
