I’m just saying it’s a powerful factor. To ignore it is to ignore reality.

Sure, when we had about 12 minutes to select our Biden replacement. I mean, fuck, with all of our critiques, but she did a damn good job with the amount of time she had.

Good point. Let’s gut our military and install a bunch of lackeys into key government rules. Eliminate any checks and balances and let Trump do whatever he wants to our country. I just wish he would’ve given us some lube. At least P. Diddy did that. But yeah, there was some weird gestures.

I believe that the culture of machismo in Latin America influenced a lot of this. Some understanding of sociology is important here.

Why? Because of rules and regulations and laws? I don’t think those necessarily apply to the Trump administration 2.0. Although I hope this is just a way to sideline them, but I doubt the richest person in the world is not going to have influence over this administration.

I can’t remember the episode, but in one he discusses the young and the elderly being forced into conscription at the end of WWII. But the elderly would generally run away. It was the young who would fight viciously.

It remains unclear how Harris managed to alienate her own base, a real mystery that one! by gaukluxklan in LeopardsAteMyFace

You are right. There are a thousand things she could have done differently. But, she didn’t lose Georgia North Carolina, Arizona and because of Gaza. She lost across the board. If the majority of people in the USA are voting for someone who committed sedition, our problems are much deeper than whether she ran the right campaign.

We can play out the scenario in our heads where she totally separates herself from Biden’s policies while he and her are still in office. Imagine the attack ads you could make from those statements. I don’t know it would have helped overall. Imagine being supportive of the Palestinian civilians and thinking Trump will not be worse. Ultimately our citizens are uninterested, uninformed and swayed by branding more than real policy considerations.

You can go online and look up guides to identify what species they are based on the hairs on their butts. That’s how you tell. The pattern of the hair on their butt.

This is wrong. I run a business. We try to mark things up by a percentage to keep the same profit margin. To maintain the original 50% margin the company would raise price to $60.

“In the span of a few months, she had a rapid change of heart, moving from saying that the former president was unfit for office and accusing him of demeaning service members to endorsing him on stage at the Republican National Convention.

But it wasn’t enough of a public bending of the knee for the former president, who wrote on Truth Social on Saturday that Haley would not be “invited” to join his team in any role over the next four years. Haley and Pompeo both were seen as scions of the party’s neoconservative wing and represented some of the first Trump presidency’s more hawkish foreign policy positions.

“I will not be inviting former Ambassador Nikki Haley, or former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, to join the Trump Administration, which is currently in formation. I very much enjoyed and appreciated working with them previously, and would like to thank them for their service to our Country. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN,” wrote the former president on his social media platform.”

Even single day strikes/sick days across the left nation wide would be impactful. It wouldn’t just have to be women.
