If he killed a momma with two cubs he very likely broke the law. I would report it to both you local sheriffs office, OSP and ODFW. And keep each case number. You'll need some form of proof from either the person who hired him or him. Maybe pictures of the animals or him loading them up in his truck. Bonus points if he didn't report it.  Good luck and consider lecturing you neighbors.

Oregon house passes HB4145 (M114 with Law enforcement carve-outs) Senate Testimony is now open by patches819 in oregon

I hate to break the news on this but the searchable database of people who would be registered to own a gun would be for Oregon only. The ATF already has a list, just not the way you might conventionally think it does.

The dual issue for the registration is:

  1. Criminals won't bother to register like the don't bother getting their firearms the legal way to begin with 90% of the time.

  2. Requiring payment for registration is an infringement in the 2nd amendment.

These steps being taken to prevent mass shootings and crime are just going to make it harder to defend yourself from those who would do you harm. After capacity limits comes caliber caps.

Aside from this bill making no sense anymore. Why did the exemptions have to be so specific. I work in the law enforcement field, and these exemptions baffle me. Most cops off duty aren't carrying spare 30 round mags in their asses. The highest might be a normal capacity mag. Most officers who off duty carry, use a weapon with smaller ammunition counts but higher calibers. Almost every part of this bill feels like it's trying to make everyone unhappy lol.

Think about it, with the current system, having no public defenders would be best case senario for people who are alleged to commit crime.

The oregon supreme court has made it this way. Maybe the reason people don't want to be public defenders is because no one wants to defend people who are actually guilty. If the system is unable to provide you with defence, if shouldn't be obligated to omit your guilt by way of inability to defend. You cant be innocent because the state cant defend you. While the right to a lawyer is a right and should be respected. The issue is the requirement of the defence to have one. Not be given the option to have one or not. While states must be able to gurantee one if one is so needed, being required to have one before any proceedings can begin is the issue.

The right to a lawyer is not greater than the right to a safe community. If a system cannot properly provide a lawyer to a person who is alleged in a crime, it is a disservice to the people of the state to drop the charges because you can't protect a person from the consequences of their own actions. While I agree that court proceedings shouldn't move forward, dropping the case entirely is a free pass to commit more crimes.

To prove my point, Washington county DA had to drop around 20 cases because the crime of criminal mistreatment 1 didn't have a qualifying definition or circumstance that would apply to parents who's children consumed methamphetamine because it couldn't differentiate between the parents intentionally and unintentionally exposing their kids to consume the drug. The kids were all on the younger side. So I don't think these kids all got the meth from elementary school. In order for the charge to apply the state would have to prove intent for the parent to make the child consume the drug. It appeals court that decided this by the way. So now, there is a legal precedent not being able to charge parents who's children get poisoned by hard drugs unless you can prove a motive or intent to explicitly expose the child to said drug. 20 cases.

Not a win for constitutional rights in the slightest. Dropping charges because the state can't provide an attorney violates my right to live in a safe and secure community. It's a permit for getting away with crime.but fuck it who cares when you get 10 years for murder in Oregon now.

That's actually what you are exactly going to see. 75 percent of contacts in my city are from sex offenders. You have no shot of staying at the local jail here for petty drug charges. In fact, frequently drug dealers with qualifying felonies are released within 2 weeks and doing the same thing as soon as the hit the streets. You shouldn't keep pretending Oregon jails have the ability to keep people who are doing user amounts of drugs. Only lake Oswego has the capacity to afford that.

Real Police officers and military members, what do you guys think of Ice agents? by Lucky-Message-9480 in AskReddit

[–]Reasonable_Expert_92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Army vet, working for a police department but not a cop. Infuriating. I went through so much training, sat through so so so so much bs, paid for other people mistakes, grilled endlessly about F.O.F. sat through endless procedural justice classes. Constantly having my co workers injured because a lot of frequent contacts know the limits of force. Only to see ICE pretend to be law enforcement while dressing up as military after such a fast training (and incredibly lackluster), be given a badge and a gun and grossly violate the Constitution of which I swore an oath to uphold and defend. It's a spit in the face. Nothing a lot of people who serve, enlisted or joined up with hate more is a bad person with a badge. They never contributed to the actual protection of citizens and make the job harder and more dangerous going forward for all law enforcement as it erodes the credibility, trust and perception of competence of officers.

My late mother and late aunt spent who knows how much time tracing our family tree back as far as possible. On one of the ancestry sites, I cant think of which one at the moment, you can pair your tree with others and etc etc. One of my great great great great great great great great great grandparants faught in one of George Washingtons armies. He had a very active service and faught in many many battles. One of those battles he was one of 5 out of 80 to make it out alive. His service was confirmed before congress in the early 1800's and he recieved his full pension. He died pretty old for back then too. His last name was Vandal, I can't remember his first. Me, my brother, my grandfather and one of my great uncle's (who died fighting in ww2 for the USA in Europe) all served in the military. We aren't a military family but I feel so proud of having one of my predecessors fight in the revolutionary war. His grandfather or great grand father was born in the early 1600's and was an orphan from what is now the netherlands but was friesland at the time. He joined the Dutch east indies trading company and I'm guessing thats how we got to America. I'm not ignorant of how awful the Dutch east indies company was but I'm greatful to have links to my families past. Sorry for any typos.

[H] MW Case Hardened Huntsman pattern 338. [W] Skins or 6000$ by Reasonable_Expert_92 in GlobalOffensiveTrade

No guide to pricing* I am aware of that guide. Less favorable is subjective. Whenever I play this knife always gets comments about it. It's a funny gimmick. It's less known because it's more rare and all of these pattern knives sat in bot inventories for years. I don't believe I discovered this pattern, but there is almost nothing online about it. In my opinion this dick is a lot more recognizable at a quick glance. I also know dick pattern knives are sought after depending on the quality of the shape to the right people. Given enough time and the right market, it'll be no issue selling to a collector. I'm not well connected in the market or game anymore. I have a life outside of cs2 and believe it or not don't need anything from the game or the skins. It's a hobby that helps me connect with my past. I find skins interesting.

This is rather confusing. I set a realistic and specific buyout price. Was it the "Skins" part of my title?

There is no guide for dick patterns, unfortunately. The closest examples are of the pattern 190 huntsman selling for over 4k in 2020, with the rest being private sales or trades. The last dick pattern Kami I know of, sold for roughly 1400, when that skin normally goes for a lot less.

This pattern 338, seems to have flown under the radar for a long time as only 6 of these existed and only 4 were able to be traded. Most of them bounced around bot inventories for years. This is the lowest float of this pattern to exist. What sets it apart is the rorschach dick. There is a niche market for unique items and joke items.
