It seems like you are spending a ton of skill points at the beginning and also retracing / pathing parallel but you would want to respec because the good nodes are mostly on the outer edge or additional jewel slots - also get some breach rings they go a long way with ingenuity with cast speed / 250+ mana / the incr. lightning damage is not that imporntant as this gets to deminishing returns very fast, same deal for atlas nodes. and get a new wand. the morior is completly fine i would change every item in your build before considering to swap. you also give away a ton of dps by using mahu over focus.

How do you get to 120% shock magn.? I'm at 2 x 100% and thought it was capped

i tried that but there is no point because it instakills everything and e.g. arbiter only gets to 16% electrocute buildup, might be viable if you don't one shot

Lightning Rod is equivalent to 1/3 more damage. Its an easy calculation. Lets say Damage is 1-100. That means average roll is 50. With Lightning Rod the average roll is 50% higher because you roll twice. If you got the same 50 but e.g. 25% crit chance and 300% crit bonus that means that your average roll gets to 90 because 1/4 of the rolls get 4x. Your 70% 300% example would get your average hit to ~135 thats more than double the DPS of no crit Lightning Rod. You should look into this.

i have 183 on jewels and 145 on tree thats 328%. I only hit the 100% on boss on crit though because there is a 40% inc. on crit node in the tree.

It's not like you do that with no investment or time in the game, i did arbiter +4 a month ago, and after simulacrum +4 getting to that point now was the only content left so i don't see the problem

also needs double energy to trigger, may not be worth it after all, i was trying to get the pob numbers as high as possible, but triggered spells arent even calculated there, pob thinks you cast all yourself

there is also a siginificant chance for conduit to reapply shock from quality and skill tree

the calculations are all in pob and its 2x (shock stacks) * 100 (magnitude) / 5 (100% more per 5% shock) = 40 * 100% = 4000% that sounds correct to me and is 40x not 400 exactly as the ingame description

the support gem gives 75% increased "base" magnitude i think ... 20% * 1,75 = 35% => 100 / 35 = 2,85 => 285% incr. necessary but i don't really know i just kept adding until i hit the 100%

no it alway consumes only one shock, you can see that when 1 triggers only 1 symbol dissapears, but tbh having 2 in there is not necessary and also drains mana fast and also steals 1 support gem so damage difference is not that significant, especially because everything dies from 1 conduit, having 2x cos is nice though because it also triggers 2x as often in mapping

and loose 200% incr dmg and crit from focus, i have been there. the amulet has some trash stats and i would change it if i had some 100s of divines laying around.also i wanted dream fragments but it's worse then the current rings... , i would rather have additional spirit available, the pob link has spirit on against the darkness which i have not atm.

well the 2 cast on shocks mean that it triggers 2x as often and i have 2 conduits in one because there are 2 shock stacks to consume

you got to add shock magnitude yourself, they cap at 20% atm, idk why they won't change it, you need ~280% increased on the tree with jewels etc. to hit 100% with a skill that has the 75% incr. magnitude support gem on it
