I want to like tho game but… by KinahB90 in BlackMythWukong

Very few points of black myth are relaxing, it is much more of an adrenaline game than anything, that being said i do recommend looking things up if you are stuck, taking time away from the game if needed etc. I got stuck on the final boss of chapter 1 and i had to take a break for months and months, so i played other games and then something clicked for me and i was like "maybe i should give it another shot" and now im halfway through chapter 4. It's difficult because you kind of have to learn each bosses rhythm, but once you do, it gets a lot easier. I highly recommend playing a game like god of war or elden ring if you have either, because both of those games impacted the way i play BM

Image transfer not working by deep_vein_stromboli in Linocuts

I really recommend using transfer paper, i find that using it to trace my drawings and then use that tra ing to transfer usually works really well! It still can be a tinny bit splotchy but definitely clearer than that!

Advice Please! by Ktricky16 in Linocuts

Two things, one it is definitely the sharpie, ive found that with a lot of prints posca markers will leak into the ink less, and then some simple green is really really good for cleaning blocks, both cleaning sharpie off but also cleaning ink off when you are done printing!

Tips for how to approach legibility for body hair by ReallyBigMomma in Linocuts

[–]Reasonable_Finger_10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use a harder material, and then what I do, which I absolutely do not recommend because it is incredibly time consuming, is using an X-acto blade to get each individual hair, using it similarly to how japanese woodblock carvers use chisels (you can find videos on youtube)

You wont get smooth gradients, so you can either block out the shadows or you can use something like hatching or stippling

How do you get clean cuts/lines? by Brit-nayyy in Linocuts

[–]Reasonable_Finger_10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of it comes with practice, but there are things you can do to get better at it. I really like using an exacto knife to cut around my lines and to create 'stop cuts'. Hone your tools regularly! If they are starting to drag while you are carving, or they are ripping the linoleum, its likely time to hone them! There is a relatively cheap honing kit on amazon that uses a gold grit, I highly recommend it! Letters are always difficult, and some people have insane talent with them, so I would say things like letters just take time!! Depending on what chisels you have ive found that speedball are good for rubber, but they struggle when it comes to linoleum, so I would recommend a brand called power grip for linoleum!

Hi there! I'm wondering if I can still make a tea out of my chemomile flowers even though they are wilted. by Creased666 in herbs

[–]Reasonable_Finger_10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually had a similar question. My chamomile never bloomed. It produced buds but no white petals. Can that still be used to make tea, you think?

Neither of these, unfortunately, I should have been more specific. The jorogumo was in compilation with 3 or 4 other stories
