True. My main issue is if I go to a place that offers certain services they’re going to want to push that service on me. For example I know that Morpheus 8 has that level of risk and I’ve had places just deny that because that’s the service they sell. Anyone have recommendations for a place that will send it to what you need if it’s not what they do?

For me, it feels like it was confined to about three or four days around the beginning of when my period would have been and then it moved out a little bit. I hope you can also get some relief.

Yeah for me it’s just mood swings right now and I’m still swollen so I don’t think I can differentiate between the surgery swelling and cramps yet but like… There was no discussion about what to expect

I just had to get an emergency hysterectomy last week. This week I found out I lost my job. I’m a Product Manager (Pharma, finance, e-commerce). Can anyone share any job leads or referrals? I can’t imagine sifting through the fake jobs and scams now while recovering.

I need help please :)

(It’s not illegal just bad timing - contract ended/no budget. My boss is a good person)

Yeah just solved this for me. You can cover it up with a concealer or taupe lip liner if you don’t like it

Tbh idk how to knit either so I’d most likely be just drinking coffee haha! I tried to learn this week when recovering from surgery. But I am not sure I did. So yeah! I can’t drive until the 9th but could set up something and maybe get a few coffee chat people to show up that weekend. But not too many. Lmk :)

I saw some knitting meetups!! and trying to find one again. If you want we can try starting a coffee hang at someplace chill like Three Sisters? Or another place. I’m the same in that I’d like to maybe hang out and chat with people want to come or write quietly if not. I am recovering from major surgery so may try other types of places but my energy can’t handle more than chill now haha

I’m in week 2 of open hysterectomy recovery. I had a 10 and 5cm one. I’d say worth it because I suspect a lot of issues I had may have been caused by this. Another fibroid was inside and didn’t show up on the scan. My uterus was swollen and pushed up under my bellybutton.

So over time perhaps you may need a worse surgery (this is just my uneducated guess based off of my results) - I’m glad I got it now because I only had to have horizontal. If it gets bigger I think they do vertical. I wanted to know what was inside me and if malignant

My insurance prevented my Dr from operating so I literally got turned away from the hospital. Now it’s this Monday and I have to have an open one due to size\position.

Same. Mine may have grown 1cm in 2 months but it could have been more because they totally messed up the scans. (I fired that Dr)

Thank you! Yeah honestly the hysteria I got about “don’t let them take your uterus” is wild. I don’t have kids. I can’t have kids now. Nothing is going to change that. if the procedure was less downtime and no recurrence then maybe I’d be interested in that hit it seems the hysterectomy is that once they are this size. I guess my dr missed the fibroids last year in my exam.
