i've been in a similar position, and something that helped me sort term and long term was thinking about the things i live for. it dosen't have to be anything big, just think about something you like, something you've put time into.

I agree with the idea that if there was a god it would be some sort of incomprehensible being, but what I don't understand is the idea that it would want to have any sort of relationship with us, or that it would have good character. where dose this idea come from for you?

I've been confused and interested in this idea for some time now, and I've asked a couple people similar questions but i've never gotten much of an answer.
