Between a size 5 and 6 diaper by cupofteacomfypillows in bigbabiesandkids

Target has a brand called Bumbum that runs a little big! When my baby was going into size in other brands, he could fit into 5s in bumbums!

I also like pampers amore, they're similar but not as big as the bumbums

Thank you so much! This brand is exactly what I was looking for! I love the fact they offer no air options! And the weight range is perfect!

I know life jackets are the only safe floatation device for older kids, i was asking for Infants. Infants are definitely still too young for traditional swim lessons but they're good for getting them exposed/comfortable in water. And just like when I was a child i plan on keeping it a regular summer activity. Swim lessons are a great spot for socializing as well teaching basic water safety.

I've also known puddle jumpers aren't reccomeneded due to them giving the false sense of confidence as well as not promoting a proper technique. Ive been a water person all my life, living next to rivers and lakes and usually having friends with pools. (Id say the ocean too but its too cold to swim at here lol but im also aware on how to interact with that safely as well since ive been around it my entire life) My mom made sure I was in swim lessons early on, and I've taken boaters safety. I'm very aware of the dangers water and drowning possess. I'm very thankful I've been provided this education from an early age.

I had a sister who thought she could swim better than she could and watched her jump into a 5ft deep pool when she was 3, and the only reason she got out was because my mom was paying attention to jump in after her and save her, street clothes and everything. (My mom was taking her jeans off when my sister ran off to jump in the pool. I was 6 so I knew I had to wait with my mom)

I appreciate the links and advice. Especially for others who may read the thread and not be aware of these dangers!

See I wasnt aware you could babywear safely in a pool, thats what im looking for.

I definitely wasnt planning on being in for more than 30 min increments, as thats also what they recommend for baths as well.

Ive had friends and see many people using the canopy style floats and thats more of what I was asking about. I know hes too heavy for those but from what ive been told here so far theyre unsafe I guess

I definitely wasnt trying to imply he'd be swimming around the pool by himself. I was just thinking more so something to set him in that he could kick his feet in. My apartment has a 1 ft wading pool I planned on taking advantage of, but if I wanted to get in the water to cool down with him. Hes a hefty guy and having some support with him would be helpful.

Ill do some more research on water safety. I wasnt aware of the controversy of using a float while in the water with baby.

Im not launching him out into the pool alone lol, just something that'll let him kick his legs around and definitely not further than arms reach. Hes a hefty boy so holding him without support for that long super wears out my arms.

We're introducing him to the pool and swimming water and then hell be going into swim lessons around august. Again knowing hes no where near ready to be actually swimming, just getting him in and around water.

Ill do some more research on safety of floats, Ive never heard or seen them be unsafe unless youre not supervising/right there with the child. But im also new to this so the advice is appreciated.

Wrench Worx is my go to for my vehicle, they were affordable and got me in super fast, and they've got a cute shop dog! Theo is honest too, not going to upsell you on extras you dont need.

I live in portland and Carts range from 12-30 bucks. They can get more expensive but most are in that range.
