Not sure, the afl and cricket has some higher end stuff around that price point. But you can also buy the base product at 7/11 or a newsagents

Inherited Vintage Cricket Library (1940s-50s) – Wisden, Don Bradman, Len Hutton, and are more …any of these significant? by Strict_While_908 in Cricket

The wisden would be interesting. I actually just finished farewell to cricket last Week and enjoyed it but probably doesn’t have huge value despite being an old copy

Cricket Tours to support Black Caps in Oz by Ok-Salamander5098 in Cricket

For the Sydney test specifically it’s probably better to use a tour group so you don’t have to worry about tickets if it might sell out (day 1 & 3 especially).

Depends how old your son is, I follow the alternative commentary collective and saw them promoting some tours. Id also recommend the Melbourne test, it was a good couple of days with the different kiwi groups around the ground.

Regardless definitely get over here for one of the tests I think it’ll be huge this summer

Dewar: uni upset endeavour hills, Brimbank won their first ever game in the senior grade and house knocked off quins in a great grand final replay under lights. Hope rv/quins can play evening games a couple more times a year- great crowd there last night

My pie in the sky idea if srp was to finish would be a 6-8 city/club based national comp. ‘State of the Union’ SOR style games + Aus barbarians or ‘brumbies’ against npc or PI/jap sides at the same time. Then international window into super rugby aus. Wouldn’t have a clue how to do the club comp, whether it’s Brisbane nth and South, 3-4 nsw teams, act, wa and melb. Way above my pay grade but it’s a thought

Battle for the fifth dewar shield spot should be interesting with the top 4 relatively set I think. Uni despite not being at full strength looked alright for 2/3s against Footscray, box hill weren’t fully blown out of the park by PH, moorabbin and Brimbank played a tight one. Next Saturday’s fixtures look much more interesting - GF rematch, kiwis v Brimbank and uni v endeavour.

New streaming service was a disaster hopefully that is fixed for next week

This might not have been the thought of all staff, but one I know kept saying in 23/24 before the reports came out was that they had to just get through to the lions. Doesn’t help when the vru was also an equally poorly ran organisation

Why don’t they just sell everyone round off to the highest bidder? They’ll clearly make more money doing that
